i love alica keys … i love alica keys but i think her new album element of freedom is dissapointing as she is drifting away from what she is known as …i mean a song with beyonce about being in the club….nah….i love alcia keys …songs in a minor was really good…but i ain feeling her new songs
caged bird is a … caged bird is a song about someone who is beautiful on the outside but wonders why everyone doesnt see past her beauty and see’s her, why they dont just try to know her for her beauty. This is the most beautiful song i’ve heard!!!
It’s about hoping … It’s about hoping and dreaming for the day that you can fly … It’s about life. There are sometimes in each life that you are being hold down by situations… but that’s the cagebird that sings (dreams) until the day she can spread her wings and beauty and become what she wants to be in life… Free, I guess

This is exactly how … This is exactly how I feel about my sister- she never lets me sing. She would do anything to make me stop. But, you know, it’s hard to stop doing something you love. Singing to me is like breathing- I can’t live without it. It’s the only time I actually feel better about myself- no matter if I’m good or not. I’d sing softly for her account, but it was never enough. She wanted me to stop all together. But I love to sing- and she, or anyone else, can change that. I’m definitely a caged bird.
