It’s going slow, but steady. He is happy and healthy and eating organic pellets of all kinds. NO more seeds all day long like he is used to.

grays are difficult birds they love one person, i have one, and even though im her predominant care taker she hates me, but loves my husband from day one,,makes me mad, not really, be careful they can cause serious damage, mine almost tore my nose off one day, and i have scarrs from her that will never go away, but wouldnt hurt my hubby for nothin, ick, its not fare, you win her over and you can say you have DONE SOMETGHIN dont give up on her though, good luck,,betty mom

im bettys mom and tx for comment, and your right, just like adopting children. as wonderful as they are they are a lifetime “commitment” rescuing them is very rewarding, sometimes heartbreaking cause they dont all make it, but at least you know that they died being well cared for and loved.adopt, dont buy!!

tx im bettys mom, i keep wings trimmed so they ca still fluttuer around but not far and they know where home is and who loves them, but it is better to be safe, i have since taken in a bng macaw an african gray and an amazon,”who has pluked all feathers because of abuse, they starved the poor guy, ” and now he has pin feathers!!yayoh yea and 2 parakeets!after so many theur is no spare time, i dont recommend it to anyone, they are terible pets, i mean they are loving but messy loud,

I have a rescued Greenwing Macaw and a Medium Sulfur Crested Cockatoo I could not imagine how anyone could own such wonderful animals and not take care of them. It should be mandatory for people to go through some sort of training to own a bird. Very nice work with Betty, my heart goes out to her. Best wishes.
