I saw this and cringed. Clearly a bad idea to tell the general population. Not only could your severly hurt your bird but you could burn them with the friction caused by the dremmel. Those women who out there who have acrylic nails know what Im talking about.

It is not a good idea to encourage amateurs to use a drill on a bird’s nails. It is very very easy to accidentally hurt the bird. Please, please take it to a vet or, at the very least, an experienced groomer. No ‘expert’ would ever suggest doing this. If you MUST clip your birds nails yourself, use a clipper

That’s not a Dremel, it is a power drill, and is even more frightening for the bird. This is unnecessary and close to being cruel. Get a sandy perch for crying out loud!
