There are lots of cage suppliers in the uk. Get the largest cage you can for the money you have...that's whats best for the bird. Larger the better..you'll have a very happy bird then! If you go 2nd hand DONT get one with any rust on. Its fatal to any birds.
Ebay sometimes have them NEW thru different sellers under Pet Supplies. Same with Amazon also.

Parrot Society maybe able to give help...(see note below) Their number is 01442 872245 http://www.theparrotsocietyuk.org
Its worth joining the parrot society though, becasue also in their monthly mags there are for sale and wanted ads; you may find a parrot in there, rather than going thru the pet shop trade.

(I cannot understand even the likes of the Parrot Society to be honest, saying that for instance a Conga Grey only needs a cage that is 24" cube... Ridiculous in my eyes.Im afraid. My CAG grey has a cage thats big enough for three macaws, and he is out most of the time too and has the complete run of the whole house - - THIS equals one happy bird.)
Please try and do right by yours...
Good luck with him/her

Give it a try...
References :
Plse dont follow the advice in the first answer. Parrots have beaks.Parrots chew. He or she would be out of the cage before you could say Jack Robinson! What is Becca there thinking of? wood indeed? INDEED NOT

You also need to make sure you got a lock on it

The HQ 13221 and AE 13221 are very popular cages in many online parrot communities. The only difference between the two of them is one has 2 small doors and the other has one big one. They are both about 32x24x35. You can get both/either at many vendors online for around $130-150 including shipping. I like that it's been widely recommended, and it has a flat-top to put a playgym on it. If you're in an apartment like me, there's not much room for freestanding playgyms. I don't like that there aren't many horizontal bars for easy climbing, or that it doesn't come with seed skirts.

Personally, I have been looking at the Aviantelligence Dome Shaped Cage w/Playtop, Item Number: 502906, at bird.com for $150, free shipping. Dimensions are 32x24x45. I like that it has seed skirts to somewhat contain the mess. It also has the most horizontal bars of any cage I've seen, which makes it easy for your bird to climb around. I like the look of the dometop, and it seems to make the cage itself roomier. No availability to put a playgym on the top, but she's pretty well taken over the coffee table and I can always get a playgym to hang from the ceiling.
References :
http://community.livejournal.com/parrot_lovers/3380381.html

Sometimes you can find good deals on www.kijiji.ca in Canada or www.kijiji.com if you're in the Usa. I have found some pretty good things for a fair price plus you can bargain with people.
References :
I would say with some chicken wire, some wood and a little bit of know how, you could make yourself a bird cage for a reasonable price. I'd suggest going into maybe a local Home Depot or other place to get an estimate on prices for materials.

Hope I helped :)
