Bird Cages

has anyone else had this problem. Is there anything i can do to reduce the noise? Its so loud that i have trouble hearing the birds chirp. also do you think that the noise is bad for the birds?

I’m pretty sure it’s not supposed to rattle Did you put it together, or did someone else? If It were my cage, I’d take out the birds, and their food and water, and any perches that that go all the way from side to side. Then I’d examine all the connectors or ?? that are supposed to hold the pieces together. I’d probably start taking it apart, and hope I could get it back together properly and end the rattling.. Did you get any sort of diagram or parts list with it?

just get like a fence and block off a corner of a room and make a big triangular cage and screw some perches or whatever right into the wall… cheap solution

Ebay prices might be decent… but once you add the shipping, you might as well get a new one! You can sometimes find good prices on cages on craigslist or in the newspaper classifieds. Also check out local bird shows/sales or flea markets. I buy all of my cages at the flea market… they are new and sold at wholesale price. If you do get a used cage… be sure to disinfect the cage with hot soapy water (be careful with cleaners… you have to make sure that NO residue is left on the cage).

Heat lamps are better, make SURE the birds cannot get to them or the cords!! Birds are ever curious….

i am planning to get one of those large vision lo1 model bird cages for my finches but i am not sure they are suitable for my society finches can anyone please tell me if they are suitable or not thank you.
{ i want to know why they are not suitable if they are not}
and what i can do to it to make it suitable.
but isn there a problem with the cage bars{ i think they are too wide i need to know

that would be perfect for your finch! but the bigger the cage is the happier the bird! so please buy the largest one you can afford!
