No. A birdcage veil can be placed so that it doesn’t cover your eyes. But there isn’t enough material to flip back in the first place.

Will an average size birdcage be an okay cage for two female rats?
Thursday, April 1st, 2010I have never had a rat before, so im a newbie. I do have two mice though.
There isn’t really a defined size for an average bird cage. All rats need a square foot of cage space each. So measure out your cage and make sure it has around 2 square feet of space in it. If it is tall rather than long add some hammocks or levels and they will be happy. A bad thing about bird cages though is many of them have the little pull out piece on the bottom container. Urine tends to get trapped underneath the bottom pan and drawer so you will have to clean often. It attracts bugs like crazy underneath it. Use good litter and regular cleaning.

What kind of dress does a birdcage veil look best with?
Friday, March 26th, 2010My dress is simple with a long train, with rusching and some beading on the side. it has a low back and i would prefer to show that off, and i love how that type of veil looks. would that look silly? also, can i wear one if my hair is down?
sexy,classy and chic…this is a veil with Flare and Couture..you also have to put on the right attitude that day as well..you have to really be able to rock this veil!!

What color is good for painting a birdcage?
Monday, March 22nd, 2010I’ve heard RED is a bad color for birds cuz they may instinctively associate that color with poison….
I’m currently in the process of fixing up an older birdcage, it’s pretty large (about 4 feet in height, by 2 1/4 feet wide). The structural support is wood, and then it has wire mesh like any standard bird cage.
I want to sell this thing for a profit when I’m done, so what color do you guys think would be most likely to sell?
The colours I see most often are burgandy, hunter green, black, and white.
Keep in mind that you can’t use any old paint to paint a bird cage with. Most paints will kill birds, even after the paint is dry. There are paints out there that are safe to use, however. Make sure you’re using one of those, and not just a can of spray paint from just anyone.
